Prime Ministers Police Medal for Life Saving-2011

Thekkady is a world famous international tourist destination. Boating in Periyar lake is the main attraction of Thekkady. On September 30th 2009, it was 5.05 PM, Inspector of Police, Kumily, Shri. Anil Sreenivas got information that a tourist boat was sinking in Periyar lake. So immediately he along with maximum police personnel rushed on the police Jeep to the boat landing.

Meanwhile on police jeep the Inspector informed the higher-ups and also made light arrangements for the rescue operation as it was night setting in.

Kerala Police won the over all Championship in the Computer Events in the All India Police Duty Meet – 2010 held in Jaipur during February 07 to 12, 2011. In addition to the Overall Championship Kerala Police also won gold and a silver medal in the individual items. This is the third time Kerala Police winning the overall Championship in the Computer Events.

Shri. Thalhath P.M from Kerala Police (Ernakulam Rural) won the Gold Medal in the Office Automation (Event-II) conducted in the 54th All India Police Duty Meet-2010.

The Silver Medal was won by Mr. Rajesh G PAI of Central Industrial Security Force and Bronze Medal was won by Mr. Selvaraj T.A, of Tamil Nadu

Shri. Mukesh M.R from Kerala Police (SCRB) won the Silver Medal in the Computer Awareness conducted in the 54th All India Police Duty Meet-2010.

The Gold Medal was won by Shri. Prakash Pradhan of Border Security Force and Bronze Medal was also won by Shri.. Sarjeet singh of Border Security Force
